In this age of viral social media there is some consolation in doing things the old way too!

The GardenUp stand at the weekend’s Highland Fling event raised  a lot of interest, despite the somewhat cool southwesterly wind that blew in unobstructed! over the Derbyshire Dales.

The planting scheme echoes the colours in the Posters – burgundy and yellow and white. Plants for the stand were kindly supplied by Ferndale Garden Centre who will be coming to the GardenUp Show!

This structure is a prototype for our ‘Parade’ type of stand which will be making its debut at the Show in June.

The  ‘Parade’ stand is a ‘Set’ – a floor with a backdrop, rather like a photography or film set where  a scene can be built to illustrate a simple idea or display products in situ. It’s the backdrop which is the key to setting the scene – like this poolside/seaside scene with beautiful, elegant loungers!
