SAGE Greenfingers supports adults with mental health needs via horticultural therapy and arts activity on Grimesthorpe allotments.

We have landscaped 5 sites into a stunning garden displaying a colourful array of flowers, herbs and veg at most times of year.  Beneficiaries experience mental health issues ranging from anxiety and depression to psychoses, schizophrenia, post traumatic stress disorder.

Many also experience chronic physical health problems and are glad to be welcomed to a site with raised beds, wide, shallow graded paths, under-cover seating with stunning views over the Don Valley.

Set up by Pitsmoor surgery, we became an independent charity in 2005 with current main funders being The Big Lottery and Sheffield NHS CCG.
