James is a full-time artist and printmaker based in Sheffield. He specialises in linocut prints, mainly of animals, birds and landscapes.

In addition to his personal work, he has been commissioned for The Hepworth Wakefield, Sheffield Children’s Festival and The Folk Forest festival.

In 2013 James reached the finals of the ‘Sky Arts Portrait Artist Of The Year’ TV series

I’m an artist and printmaker and I live in Sheffield, South Yorkshire. I specialise in linocut prints and sell my work as original hand-pressed prints, poster-prints, cards and sometimes applied to ceramic items.

Recent work has been on screenprints exhibited at the Millennium Galleries in Sheffield.
