Annette Petch -Jewellery

I make intricate, delicate jewellery in recycled silver and gold, using traditional hand techniques including chain making, anticlastic raising, forging, chasing and repoussé.

My designs are inspired by flowers, seeds, pods, leaves, bark, swirling water and ripples on sand. I work from detailed observational drawings before forming my pieces in metal. My favourite places are gardens, woodland and the seashore, and of course my studio in Sheffield, where I have a lovely view of the living wall outside when I sit at my workbench.

I sell my work through exhibitions, galleries, and craft fairs, and I welcome commissions. In 2013 and 2012 I exhibited at RHS Tatton Park Flower Show, in the Horticultural Arts and Crafts Pavilion, which also gave me the opportunity to wander round the amazing show gardens.
