One of the UK’s top 5 true specialist alpine plant nurseries, situated at 900ft in the Yorkshire Pennines for nearly 30 years.

The vast majority of plants are propagated on the nursery from seed or cutting, resulting in a unique and unusual range. All are extremely hardy – grown outside at 900ft in the Pennines – and have withstood prolonged temperatures of -19°C.

Mr D’Arcy’s Heritage Fruit Trees specialises in offering heritage and unusual varieties for gardeners, allotment holders, landowners & organisations.

Grafted 1, 2 or 3 year old trees are available on plant health certified rootstocks, in 3 litre, 7 litre or 12 litre containers, convenient to plant at any time of year or also as bare root trees between December and April.

Wood reincarnation

My name is Kevin Rhodes. I spent my former career of 40 years as a Mechanical Engineer in Sheffield. I established Wood Reincarnation in 2013, with a view to designing and making a number of useful everyday objects from recycled hardwood and other materials.

I up cycle a number of materials including stainless steel, iron, copper, glass and some plastic.  I also up cycle many everyday objects including horse shoes, wine barrels, corks, tools, plant pots, mill shuttles, beer kegs and even washing machine drums.

Trevor Neal – Artist

I am an artist based in the Sheffield with over 45 years experience in the art business.

I hope you can make the time to look at all my images and appreciate the level of expertise, my command of an ever widening use of media and substrate combinations, subject matter and imaginative use of imagery.

Gareth Watling

Gareth Watling paints British birds with a passion that often borders on obsession. A full-time professional, he attends many garden shows throughout the year and is a regular at the ‘ Art in the Gardens’ event, also held at the Sheffield Botanical gardens.

His work can be found in many private collections not only in Britain but throughout the world. He has recently completed several private commissions over the winter and is now about to start work on a special series depicting birds in flight.
